4-hr Pruning course with Chris Hastings

 In this 4-hr course, Chris Hastings, a professional arborist, Will Teach You the basics of back-yard pruning.....  

.....From the recommended pruning tools to the “do’s” and “don'ts” of shrub and tree management. The course will include lecture, tour, and hands-on segments.At the end of the formal instruction, Chris will be available for one-on-one discussions regarding your specific needs (bring pictures!). You are encouraged to bring your own pruning tools if you have them.Chris will provide an expert assessment as to their suitability for your pruning projects. You will also use them in the hands-on segment of the course. At the end of this class, you will have the confidence to either tackle your own small backyard pruning needs, or correctly direct a contractor to tackle your larger pruning projects.

Chris is a conservation arborist with a keen perspective in environmental stewardship.

This event is outdoors. Please dress for the weather. Wear footwear suitable to walking on the farm and operating hand tools. Closed-Toed shoes are a must. Safety eye wear is recommended. Take necessary precautions for tick exposure.

Bring: Water bottle, snacks, your own pruning tools if you have them, pictures of your pruning projects.
