About Our Summer Camp for Children ages 5-12
Campers are grouped by age with the Green Beans as the youngest starting at age 5, then the Rutabagas, Sweet Potatoes and Zucchinis up to age 12. Each group of 20 campers has a "bunk" which is their home-away-from-home when they are not having adventures on the farm. Specials classes such as art and archery are done by age group, groups may combine for some activities and an older group may lead an for a younger group. Special guests come weekly to offer interactive performances, or to lead theme related activities. Learning happens everywhere all the time about nature, animals, botany, games, science and friendship. Campers, Counselors-in-Training, counselors, teachers and support staff make an amazing community together.
