Guided Nature Walks
November 25 Family Nature Walk: "Getting Ready for Winter"
Plants and animals have strategies for surviving the winterand much of the fall is spent preparing for it. Deciduous trees lose their leaves, insects and amphibians look for places to hunker down, animals change into their warm winter coats, and many birds and butterflies get ready to migrate. Join naturalists Paula and Joel as they look for signs that these marvelous changes are taking place.
