CAMP LEADERSHIP PROGRAM for Youth ages 12-14
The Camp Leadership Program (CLP) combines service, leadership development, skill building, adventure and fun! The program is hands-on with 80 acres on a certified organic farm and woods, creeks, fields and gardens to explore. Time with animals is a part of every day. CLP's learn about where food comes from as they care for a big garden and learn from farmers. Culinary arts with the amazing Chef Anwar Rasheed will include healthy snack making and a weekly lunch cooking adventure. New this year-Archery! Art, science, recipes and special projects are connected to weekly themes:
Week One-Flutter By: Bees, butterflies, moths, and bats help to make 1 out of every 4 bits of our food happen. Let's learn more about the truly incredible world of pollinators!. Meet bee keepers and follow the journey from flower to honey, seeds and fruit!

Week Three-Food is Amazing: Love to cook? Love to eat? Let's take a deeper dive from seed-to-fork as we harvest berries, fresh veggies and herbs and make delicious creations!
Week Four-Moovin and Groovin: Lights! Camera! Action! Play an instrument? Is hip hop your groove or ballet? Got a song to sing? Bring your talents to camp! Drumming, yoga, song writing-there will be something for everyone. Let’s learn about the science of sound and movement and what helps us to hear and leap!
Week Five-Go Green: Let's be a Green Team finding ways to make great choices every day with the Earth in mind. We'll compost, plant native plants, help our creek to thrive and map our ecological footprints. We will be Climate Pirates charting a steady course of our amazing Earth Ship!
Week Six-Artful Adventures: Discover art anywhere! Choose painting, weaving, drawing, clay or collage for artful adventures. Meet local artists and share your talents. Make our campus more beautiful and make art with natural materials found on the farm.
Week Seven-Globe Trotters: Let’s celebrate many cultures this week! Speak another language? Does your family make recipes from other lands-bring them to camp! Let’s learn songs, make art and share stories from around the world. Let’s make connections from our everyday to people and places everywhere!
