Fall Field Trips
Little Farmers Tour
Offered
on Wednesdays only. Includes: a hayride to the orchard, visit to
the barnyard, Land of Scarecrows, the labyrinth walk, time in the
Halloween Hollow Playground (for children up to age 10), a farm
coloring page, one “spookie” pumpkin per person, and a visit to our
farm store offering fresh apple cider, fruit pies, candied and caramel
apples, mums and pumpkins and more! Tour lasts approximately 1 ½
hours. Cost: $6.50
Cider Press Tour
Offered
Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Includes: a hayride to the orchard,
visit to the barnyard, Land of Scarecrows, the labyrinth walk, time in
the Halloween Hollow Playground (for children up to age 10), a farm
coloring page for each person, a guided tour of our amazing cider press
in operation, one “spookie” pumpkin and one apple per participant, and
a visit to our farm store offering fresh apple cider, fruit pies,
candied and caramel apples, mums and pumpkins and more! Tour lasts
approximately 1 ½ hours. Cost: $8.00
Corn Maze Adventure
Offered Tuesday through Friday, the adventure begins with a hayride and
is followed by a scavenger hunt in the giant 6 acre corn maze.
Participants search for 22 stations hidden in the corn, which hold the
answers to questions found on their game card. Learning becomes a fun
challenge as small teams uncover the mysteries of archeology and
geology that lie beneath the surface of the earth. Great for team and
community building
and mixed age groups. Tour lasts approximately 1 ½ hours.

Glean Apples for New Jersey Farmers Against Hunger
An
added opportunity for your students to perform a community service.
After your tour, consider spending a half hour or more collecting
wind-dropped apples in our beautiful 10–acre orchard. In just a short
time, hundreds of pounds of delicious apples can be collected, which
then are distributed by New Jersey Farmers Against Hunger to food
pantries throughout the region. By reservation only. To Make A Reservation

These guidelines will help make your outing to Snipes a memorable
one:
- All tours are by reservation only!
- Minimum group size: 15 paying visitors
- Two teachers are admitted free per class of at least 15

All are welcome! We can accommodate groups with disabilities or special
needs. Please specify your group’s special needs when placing
your reservation.
- We will make every effort to accommodate your group in case
of inclement weather.

Picnic tables are only for use by those purchasing lunch at Snipes Farm
and Education Center. You are welcome to bring a picnic lunch and
blankets
for ground
seating.
- We want to make your visit to Snipes Farm and Education
Center a
safe and happy experience. A trip to the farm is a trip to the
country! Not all walking surfaces are level, smooth, or paved.
Please keep this in mind when preparing your group for their tour.
Summer Field Trips
Bring your summer camp or group to the farm for a day
trip. Activities include:
- Hay ride around the farm
- Berry picking: each child will pick a half pint of
blueberries or blackberries
- Meet the farm animals: horses and chickens
- Farm playground
- Bring your own lunch or snack and use our shaded picnic
tables
- Cost $8.00
