Farm to School Programs

farm-school1Farm-to-School education programs bring the farm to your school, and your students to the farm with hands-on learning in both settings. We work primarily with elementary students and tie all of our lessons to PA academic standards. Middle and high schoolers have done service learning projects with us. We design programs to meet the curricular needs of each class or school.

farm-school2Programs have been up to eight sessions or as few as four depending on funding and goals of the program, with several sessions at school and several at the farm. We will work with you to design a program that fits your needs and resources.

farm-school3Our in-school programs include farm history, nutrition education and cooking. Farm education includes lessons in the orchard, greenhouse, growing fields, children's garden, cider barn kitchen, woodlands and farm museum.
