Little Sprouts Pre-School Program

Little Sprouts classes meet on Tuesdays from 10am to 12noon.  Cost is $20 per class.  Families are invited to enjoy a picnic afterwards.

Tuesday, July 3^rd - It Starts with a Seed

Seeds are little packages of life. We will sort seeds, plant some in the children's garden, try some as a snack and make art with them.

Tuesday, July 10^th - Plants Are Amazing!

Explore what’s growing at Snipes Farm. We will find plants big and small, blossoms and fruit, learn about different ways that plants grow and then sample some as a snack.

Tuesday, July 23^rd- Farmers Grow Our Food

Soil is much more than “just dirt!” Let's appreciate the worms who live there and about the compost that they love to eat!

Tuesday, July 30^th - Animals We Tend

Let's meet the chickens, horses and bunnies who live at the farm and find out about how we care for them.

Tuesday, August 7^th  -  Soil Is Life

Soil is more than "just dirt"! It is the amazing stuff all plants grow in that is teeming with life. We'll meet worms and learn about the compost they love to eat.

Tuesday, August 14^th  -  Wild Lands and Wild Life

The 25 acres of woods and two creeks at Snipes Farm are homes to wild critters living their own wild lives. We'll go for a nature walk, find their homes and enjoy the peace and green of their beautiful world.
