Snipes Farm Camp Leadership Program (CLP) for youth ages 12-14
Camp Leadership campers (CLPs) help younger children with morning chores and then head onto their own program. The day includes: leadership and team building activities, camp serrvice projects, and baking camper birthday treats. CLPs provide extra care for camp animals and teach younger campers the proper ways to handle them. Special guests bring a wide array of expertise and provide fun, hands-on activities in art, nature study, culinary arts, cultural exchange and more. A lunch-making extravaganza once-a-week includes: menu planning, harvesting and cooking everything from scratch. Click here for more details. To register on CampDoc click here.
Snipes Farm Day Camp Counselor-in-Training Program for youth ages 15-17
Be a special part of our camp community-apply to be a Counselor-in-Training (CIT)! A CIT gains training and leadership skills and supports the daily activities and life of the campers. CITs are volunteers who commit to a minimum of two weeks of service. CITs spend time on a working farm doing all the fun stuff that campers do while providing support to the camp staff. If your high school requires community service hours, consider Snipes Farm Day Camp as the perfect place to complete that requirement. Have fun and gain valuable skills at Snipes Farm this summer! More information about SFDC's CIT program can be found here. Interested in applying to become a CIT?
